It looks like you stumbled upon Owen Cyclery's first blog post and we're glad you're here.

We're a locally owned and operated bike shop located in Hixson, Tennessee. We're a team of knowledgeable and enthusiastic humans with one goal; to bring you the best service and buying experience when you step foot in our store (okay, so maybe that was two goals).

We're a small shop, but we are launching an online store that will give you the ability to shop outside the our physical merchandise. Our brands include Cannondale, Raleigh, Salsa Cycles, Scott Bicycles, Thule, and Serfas. Owen Cyclery is centered on creating a better and safer cycling community through our actions, and cater to your needs--from the casual road bike to the triathlete looking for a top-of-the-line cycle.

So...why did we decided to start blogging in the first place? Because bikers can blog too! We know that quite a few of our customers are avid riders and embark on some great adventures with their two wheeled friends, that are worth talking about. We also know that some of you are weekend brunch bums, that ride your bikes just down the street for a cup of coffee and a waffle. We want to see your photos and hear about your adventures too!
